Trustee Keith A. Robinson has lived in the “Skevanston” neighborhood of Skokie since 2005. He was elected to the Village Board in 2021. Trustee Robinson has a Doctor Educational Leadership degree from National Louis University, Chicago, as well as a Master of Education Administration and Supervision from Roosevelt University, Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary English Education from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. After beginning his career as an English teacher, Trustee Robinson served as the Dean of Students of Niles West High School and as the Assistant Principal for Operations at Niles North High School. He is currently the Associate Principal for Educational Services at Evanston Township High School. His community involvements include serving as a board member of the Family Action Network and a former president and board member of Foundation65. He is a member of the Ball State Teacher’s College Advisory Council and also serves as a board member for the Friendship Foundation. Trustee Robinson and his wife, Dr. Sharon Robinson, a pediatrician at NorthShore University Healthcare Systems, have two daughters, Taryn and Kari.
Trustee Robinson values the diversity of Skokie’s neighborhoods, restaurants and shopping, and loves the services provided by the Village and other community partners.
