This event is sponsored by the Village of Skokie Telecommunications and Technology (STAT) Commission and will be held on October 24, 7 p.m., at Skokie Police Headquarters, 7300 Niles Center Road. Those who attend will hear from an experienced information security professional and Skokie Police officers. Materials covered will include an intro to modern information security and digital privacy, how to protect yourself online and provide instructions for how and when to contact police if you believe you’ve been a victim of cyber crime.
