The Village is in communication with the County on their roadway resurfacing project, which will include the addition of dedicated bike lanes. This project is currently in the planning phase.

Construction of Old Orchard Multi-Use Path (Skokie Boulevard to Skokie Valley Trail at Lockwood) – This project will complete the connection of the Old Orchard Multi-Use Path from Gross Point Road to the Skokie Valley Trail.

Extension of the Skokie Valley Trail (Old Orchard to north Village limits) – The Village is coordinating with northern Cook County municipalities to extend the Skokie Valley Trail to Lake County. To complete the connection in Skokie, the Village will be adding less than a mile of multi-use pathway from Old Orchard Road to the north Village limits.
