We are looking for families, neighborhood block groups, civic organizations, religious groups, schools, sports teams, businesses, and individuals to participate in a good old fashioned litter pickup event! This year's Clean, Green Skokie kicks off on March 20 and runs through April 21. Call Skokie Public Works at 847/933-8427 and leave your email address. A coordinator will reach out to help select a location and to make pick up arrangements for your litter kits (trash bags, gloves, and safety vests). Select any date that works for your group from March 20 to April 21. Participating groups will be entered into a drawing to plant a tree in their honor at a public location of their choice.
