Everest Excavating, Inc will begin watermain installation for the new Homewood Suites at 4930 Oakton Street. As part of the construction, a small section of the northbound through lane on Niles Avenue will be closed. Through traffic will still be maintained for both northbound and southbound. The lane closure begins about 90 feet north of Oakton Street and ends at the alley. The lane closures will start on October 31 between 7:00 am - 5:00 pm to ensure the safety of both motorists and construction workers. The construction work on Niles Avenue is expected to be completed by Tuesday, November 1 (weather permitting). Flaggers will be present to direct traffic.
