There will be fun for the whole family at National Night Out at Oakton Park, 4701 Oakton Street, on August 2 from 5 to 9 p.m.! This year's event, coordinated by the Skokie Police Department, will be the best one yet with lots of safety information, giveaways, activities, food, CTA mini-train rides, face painting, balloon animals, Skokie Police school supply giveaway and more! Plus, free hot dogs, t-shirt giveaway and a bounce house courtesy of the Skokie Park District!
Here is a schedule of planned performances:
- 5:15 p.m. - National Anthem by John Vincent
- 5:30 p.m. - SPD K9 demonstration along with TOPS dog trainers
- 6:30 p.m. - Jesse White Tumblers
- 7:30 p.m. - Magic from Ed Fairman
- 8:15 p.m. - Fierce Fire Entertainment
