On Tuesday, September 1, 2021, the Village will launch the annual test of the CodeRED high-speed telephone dialing system that is designed to deliver a recorded emergency telephone message to Skokie residences and businesses.
Residents and those who work in Skokie are encouraged to add their email address and a mobile phone or another contact number to the CodeREDsystem. When warranted, neighborhood-specific messages are sent to those who have entered their Skokie address.
