The Skokie Health and Human Services Department reports receiving inquiries from members of the community concerned about scheduling a COVID-19 vaccination during Ramadan, which begins soon. Those seeking more information are encouraged to participate in the March 25, 2021 Facebook Live event produced by NHS in Leeds, and to also review other resources on the subject that provide reassurance that it is vital to receive a first or second dose of COVID-19 vaccine when it is offered - even during Ramadan.
Note that the Facebook Live event takes place from 1 to 2 p.m. CST. It is expected that the video program will be archived on the
