On Monday, November 23, construction operations for the 8000 North Development will begin on Lincoln Avenue just north of Oakton Street. Between 9 am and 3 pm work will take place to prepare for an eventual overnight water main shutdown from approximately 12 am – 7 am on Tuesday the 24th. This work requires the closure of a portion of the southbound parking and through lanes on Lincoln north of Oakton and although major delays are not expected, traffic will be affected. Please consider an alternate route.
Restoration of the work zone shall be completed immediately and disturbance after Tuesday, Nov. 24 should be minimal. For more information, please contact the Engineering Division at 847/933-8231.
