The Niles Township Clergy Forum will once again provide the community with an opportunity to come together in the annual Interfaith Thanksgiving observance.
This year marks the 50th year that the clergy forum has hosted an interfaith Thanksgiving observance for the community. The theme of this year’s service is Hope, and it will take place virtually on Tuesday, November 24 at 7:30 p.m. It is scheduled to last for one hour.
Mayor George Van Dusen will welcome the community to the observance, in which numerous members of the clergy at Skokie and Niles Township congregations will participate. The featured speaker will be Rabbi Michael Weinberg who is concluding his 34-year tenure at Temple Beth Israel. Here is a link to the service:
This event is hosted by the Niles Township Clergy Forum. Cash offerings will support the Village of Skokie Assist-A-Family program, and donations of non-perishable food will be accepted for the Niles Township Food Pantry.
