Requesting a ballot to vote by mail just takes a few minutes, and ballots are available in 12 different languages. Voting by mail saves you a trip to the polls and perhaps long lines. The Early Voting Period for the November 3, 2020 General election will run seven days a week from Monday, October 19 through Monday, November 2. To allow for greater social distancing, the early voting site has been moved to Oakton Community College, 7701 Lincoln Avenue, Room P103/P104 (entrance and exit doors 22 and 23). There will be no early voting at Skokie Village Hall.
At the early voting site, all safety precautions will be taken according to CDC and IDPH guidelines, including mandatory face coverings, required social distancing, the availability of hand sanitizers provided by the Cook County Clerk’s office. Voting machines will be cleaned daily.
First week – October 19 to 24:
Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Second week/final Monday – October 25 to November 2
Monday (October 26) to Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday(s): 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday (November 2): 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
