The 2020 Skokie Farmers’ Market is scheduled every Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. through November 1, with changes to how customers will be able to shop at the market, in accordance with guidelines from the Illinois Department of Health. Among the changes are:
- Limits on the number of guests admitted to the Market at one time.
- Attendees are required to wear face coverings and practice physical distancing inside of the Market, as well as in line to enter the Market.
- Pets are not allowed inside of the Market.
- This year’s Market will observe a “no touch” policy, which means that merchandise can only be touched by respective vendors.
In addition to these guidelines, patrons are asked to attend individually or otherwise limit the number of household members that attend the Market each week. This will allow the Skokie Farmers’ Market team to maintain physical distancing in a more effective manner, while giving everyone an opportunity to shop.
As conditions may change for the duration of the Market, please recognize that these rules and procedures may change.
The 2020 Skokie Farmers’ Market will be held in the parking lot on the northwest corner of Oakton Street and Floral Avenue. Free parking is available in the Village Hall parking lot across the street at 5127 Oakton Street.
