“NeXt,” a new 20th Century Fox television drama, will be filming in Downtown Skokie on Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7. The filming will take place outside of 8001 Lincoln Avenue, and will require the complete closure of Lincoln Avenue from Oakton Street to Brown Street on Friday, December 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and again from 6 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. on Saturday morning. The street will be opened for rush hour Friday evening.
There will be Skokie public safety personnel on-site during the duration of the filming. Message board signs notifying drivers of the detour are in place. Businesses and residents in the immediate area have been notified.
