[ARCHIVED] Car Seat Safety Checks at September 29 Skokie Farmers' Market

Sign about car seat check

Visit the Skokie Farmers’ Market on Sunday, September 29, 2019, for the car seat safety check event with the Skokie Health Department, which coincides with Child Passenger Safety Week.  When used correctly, car seats help to transport your most precious cargo safely. By appointment, so please register by calling 847/933-8252. Inspections take place from 9 a.m. to noon. Walk-ins will be accommodated, time permitting, with priority given to those who have made appointments. Car seats must already be installed in the vehicle. Licensed staff will perform a safety seat check and provide recommendations to meet the highest safety standards. Staff present cannot install car seats but can make adjustments to the installed seat.
