Consumer Affairs Commission

About

The Consumer Affairs Commission coordinates consumer activities within the Village, including educational forums and the Farmers' Market. The Commission is an advisory body that prepares reports for the Village Board and makes recommendations on ordinances, regulations and methods of enforcement related to consumer affairs. All recommendations are presented to the Mayor and the Board of Trustees. The Commission sponsors the Business of the Year and the popular Farmers' Market. Each Commissioner serves a four-year term.

Skokie Business of the Year

In 2022 the Consumer Affairs Commission selected Culver's of Skokie, located at 9455 Skokie Blvd, as Skokie Business of the Year.  Runners up included Skokie Provisions, Healing Hands Wellness & Chiropractic Center, Buona Beef, and Sketchbook Brewing Company
