Police Beat 316 Officer Andrew Lehmann is the primary contact and Beat Coordinator of 316. Officer Lehmann was hired by Skokie Police Department in 2006 and he is currently assigned as a day shift patrol officer.
Beat 316 is a small, heavily populated section in the middle of Skokie. There are many residential complexes within this Beat. The CTA’s Yellow Line (Skokie Swift) Dempster Station shuttles commuters to and from this beat that also includes the Skokie Valley Trail, a multi-use bicycle/walking path that leads south from Dempster Street toward the Village of Lincolnwood into Chicago. This path will eventually link Waukegan at the northern end. The Dempster Street Corridor and Skokie Swift make beat 316 very accessible.
