First-Time Homebuyer Programs
Making more housing choices available is a part of the broader economic development strategy of the Village of Skokie. The Village, in conjunction with the Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA), is pleased to partake in programs to benefit low- and moderate-income first-time homebuyers. The programs are operated by IHDA and are designed to make purchasing a home in Skokie more affordable through special financial incentives.
All of these IHDA programs have strict restrictions as to income limits and maximum purchase prices. Please click here for additional information for each program.
Contact: Skokie residents who are interested in these programs may contact IHDA at 312/836-5200 and ask for a homeownership representative.
